Screenprinter Film Review

My review of the music video “Don’t You Start:” Glad to see ear protection while reclaiming, but in the printing scene maybe I would have had the screen a little more off contact using a couple cardboard tabs…

I remember an old Letterman bit where he had an actual welder come on the show and review Flashdance and talk about how the sparks and Jennifer Beal’s hair coming out from behind the welder’s mask was not kosher.

Gotta love this video which has many of my favorite things. Besides being a screenprinter I produce the Pawtucket Film Festival and I have an eclectic radio show.  This video “Don’t You Start” by Sleepy Kitty has all the greatest elements: music, art, flipbooks, film, a woman on guitar, and screenprinting! I’m not so big on blonde hair or lip synching or faked guitar playing, but you can’t have everything, right?

Pretty cool film with the animated flipbook sequences

Good reclaim scene, glad to see the ear protection and the thorough job he is doing, probably a little better than his drumming.

Nothing better in this world than intentional moire and intentional pixillation.

I didn’t dig the video of the fake guitar playing, but her screenprinting must be done right or she would have carpal tunnel syndrome and wouldn’t be playing guitar fake or not.
The lead singer does some believable screenprinting.
