Misprint Monday – Clean Bill of Health in the Netherlands

A few notes while passing through the Amsterdam airport and looking at shirts. I don’t know about the rest of you in the business but before I can even think of how clever (or not) a shirt might be, my eyes automatically scan it for being out of register, dye migration, off the mark right or left, too low…. It is a gift and a curse. Today remarkably I see no dye migration or registration issues, but not so creative either. Pretty predictable stuff, pot leaves, soccer, red light references, and beer references. Who’d a thunk it? The red football (soccer) jersey had a nice white print, the orange brand name jersey clearly skirted the dye migration issue on this polyester shirt, opting for embroidery…

No dye migration because no printing, it is embroidered.

Nice white print on a poly jersey.
