Winning and Losing Baseball (Shirt Version)

I talked to my good friend and great sports mind Mike Manning this morning. He said he loved that the Royals won the wild card play-off game in a walk-off 12th inning comeback. “Even with all those ex-Sox guys on the A’s?” I asked.

“We’ve got tons of inventory in Royal and we had nothing in Forest Green or Yellow,” he said. Mike works for LA T’s and that’s the shirt guy’s take on the game I guess.

I know that I used to root for the Yankees and against the Red Sox even though with hot market printing being way more in my favor business-wise if the Sox won. I”m guessing even with business self-interest if it had been the Red Sox and not the A’s losing, Mike might have even gone the other way on this game.

I also know there are probably some happy print shops around Kansas City today, and that my friend and Ink Kitchen partner in CA Tom  Davenport of Motion Textile won’t be printing any A’s shirts this year.

If you don't have Green or Yellow shirt inventory and you are in the business, I guess you don't root for the A's.
