Web Wednesday – William S. Burroughs

I guess if some folks can make more money selling a t-shirt by signing it, why not also by shooting holes in them…

William S. Burroughs was a beat generation writer of such classics as Naked Lunch and The Soft Machine. In this video clip he, while well over 80 years old, plugs some of his t-shirts full of lead.

I’m sure some folks would think that a shirt with holes in it is worth less, but I guess when a famous writer does it with a firearm, not so. A little research shows that this shirt now goes for about $600.
