Ship Happens

This post is from our buddy Brett Bowden of Printed Threads:

It’s that time of year again.  UPS and FedEx are going to be completely slammed with delivering all of the packages full of Christmas presents that your family is ordering on Amazon.

We shipped out shirts to a music festival in LA last week and guess what…  they were scheduled to deliver on friday and we were presented with the “E” word…. EXCEPTION!   You can call UPS and beg and cry about the situation,  but if your boxes are on a truck that has not been unloaded… you are just screwed.

Be prepared! Ship your products as early as possible. Don’t let the “E” word “F” you.

  1. Good call….. We deal with the “exception” all the time…. And good luck getting your money back from the big brown box. I worked for UPS during a holiday season years back. The amount of damaged packages were staggering. Like 1 in 15 were totally destroyed. Including boxes of live ammunition that would rain bullets. Best to get all holiday order’s on the way prior to the madness of two weeks before Christmas.

    1. My good friend Nick Wood is correct, get those packages out early! We drop ship every day with our clients and with the holidays give each shipment an extra day or three. Every year UPS, FedEx, and USPS all break the previous year’s record.
