Wow. Fun Party for a Good Cause. Lucky 13 Bash

Our partner in this endeavor we call theInkKitchen.com pulled out all the stops on Friday and we had the Lucky 13 Bash. Tom Davenport’s Motion Textile was transformed into  a graduate program in advanced screen printing, a beautiful cool club for the evening, a gathering of many good and knowledgeable folks in our industry to hang out, and all for the benefit of the Sacramento

Misprint Monday (on a Friday…) : The Grey Blues. Brett on Triblend Issues

From our pal Brett Bowden at Printed Threads in Texas comes this tale of woe. It doesn’t seem right to publish a story about a “bedeviled” Christian shirt on Christmas (this coming Monday) so we put this out today, a Friday. The joys of printing on Triblends (cotton, polyester, rayon) that are 100% black… Our job with Triblend printing is that we’ve got to make

Reflections at the End of the Trade Show Season (at the end of the retail era as we knew it…)

Here’s Brett’s take on his most

Mis-print Monday We’re Just Working for the Weeken

Today’s post comes from our pal Brett Bowden of Printed Threads. Everybody’s working for the weeken We have been really busy lately.  It always seems like when you have no time for problems, that is when problems arise.   The other night we were printing shirts after business hours when we realized a small problem.   Our art departments weary eyes missed a spelling error.

Reflections at the End of the Trade Show Season – Part III

Here is my third post, some final refections as the busy trade show season is mostly over. The biggest trends of the past ten years have been related to digital printing and to concerns about the effects of printing and garments on the environment. Developments in the environmental realm seem to have slowed down, but still do continue and I assure you they will not stop.
